DataForge is a boutique data and systems consultancy based in Wichita, Kansas — built on a straightforward premise: most operational problems aren't unsolvable, they're just unexamined.

The inflection point was a law firm in Wichita. I came in as an office clerk and within a year had built enough systems, documented enough processes, and solved enough problems that a role didn't exist for what I was already doing — so the firm created one. I've been their Data Coordinator for two years. That trajectory is essentially the DataForge thesis in miniature: find the inefficiency, build the solution, make it stick.

The way I work is diagnostic first. I pull a system apart — a reporting workflow, an intake process, an automation that's grown brittle over time — and identify where the original architecture ends and the workarounds begin. Those workarounds are always the problem. They function independently of the core, which means they compound friction instead of resolving it. The fix is rarely to add more. It's to fold the additions back into the foundation and let the system run clean.

The result isn't just a faster process. It's the elimination of background friction — the low-grade drag that builds when systems don't behave the way they should. Clients leave with infrastructure that works predictably, documented so it stays that way, and built so they own it completely.
